Compliance Manager Job

COMPLIANCE MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in UNIVERSAL CITY, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Bachelor's Degree (or work experience equivalent) in safety, business or related field.
- Three to five (3-5) years management experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of a theme park, maintenance dept. or a high speed and continuous process manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations such as but not limited to OSHA, California Ride Safety, ADA, and NFPA.
- Must be able to coordinate a high volume of work and relating to documentation creation/development and revision activities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the compliance programs managed inside Technical Services.
- Coordinates all compliance activities relative to the safe operation, maintenance, and inspections of the rides, shows, and attractions operated at client site.
- Maintain compliance with all ride safety standards adopted by Federal, State and local agencies having jurisdiction.
- Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements managed inside the Technical Services department adopted by Federal, State and local agencies having jurisdiction.
- Responsible for close coordination of these standards with other departments needs as required.
- Coordinate all related training both internal and external.
- Ensures programs maintained to ensure department personnel understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Collects, evaluates, and maintains data concerning safety related evaluations and assessments.
- Investigates and analyzes root causes, patterns, or trends relating to the use of policies, procedures, and protocols used in the inspection, maintenance, and operation of the rides, shows, and attractions.
- Helps to identify and implement corrective action where appropriate for any compliance and maintenance initiatives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and nights as required.
- Must demonstrate appropriate business acumen in the field of compliance.
- Must have excellent organizational, written and verbal skills in a professional setting.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
