COMPLIANCE MANAGER - HOUSING

CONTRACT WILL RUN UP UNTIL END OF DECEMBER 2012, POSSIBLE EXTENSION AVAILABLE

FULL DRIVERS LICENCE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Check and scrutinise Monthly Contract Submission(s) of Re-let properties, prepared by the providers are i.a.w. conditions laid down in the specified contract.
2. Attend and contribute to the Site Meetings, chaired by the providers to ensure contract compliance and financial scrutiny and monitoring is applied.
3. Interface with site based Housing Officers and Service personnel/occupants regards Technical and/or contractual issues pertinent to the properties within the designated geographical area.
4. Attend properties for occupant and/or Ops Accommodation referral in order to undertake technical and contract arbitration/decision based on technical and housing management references.
5. Scrutinise, validate and authorise Ex Contract and additional works. These will either be submitted by the contractor or arise as occupant generated provision of requirement.
6. Compile and Contribute to the Asset Replacement Programme. This includes identifying deficiency of Scale and/or socially driven environmental requirements specific to the geographic area, properties and estates within their designated region. These proposals are to be accompanied by a clear concise technical requirement and justification.
7. Act as the point of contact between the Housing local site staff, the Contractor for all contract and/or arbitration for delivery of properties i.a.w. criteria identified in the contract and associated references. Deal with all correspondence associated with the contract and if required, visit Housing Property in order to evaluate and assess disputed or contentious items.
8. Undertake site visits to ensure compliance for responsibilities and/or as directed for site-specific assessments. This is to include a requirement, where necessary to be available for detached duty at distant locations. This may also include availability at another Ops Housing Site as cover and/or supplement resource requirement for local site.

Skills/Experience Required
1. Background in housing repairs and maintenance
2. Contract experience
3. Project Management
4. Technical qualification or equivalent experience
5. Military/Defence experience
