Compliance Manager - Contract

Eden Scotts client, a specialist financial services company, are looking to recruit a temporary compliance manager to cover whilst they appoint a permanent member of staff. As such the role will last for a minimum of 3 months and could be up to six months. You will be based ion the London office with regular contact with the Edinburgh office.The role is focused on 3 key areas*Managing the compliance process - mainly around gifts/hospitality, personal dealing, conflicts of interest.*Customer due diligence - KYC and AML checks and also further questions due to the sensitive nature of the business (more details on application)*Compliance Monitoring - several key checks every month.To be successful in the role candidates will require the following background and skillsYou will be an experienced compliance professional with experience working within financial services. You will ideally have experience within investment banking or aiding with complex joint venture or private equity deals.
