COMPLIANCE TECHNICAL MANAGER - COMMERCIAL LINES AND PERSONAL

We are looking to recruit a COMPLIANCE TECHNICAL MANAGER to work within a large FINANCIAL SERVICES company based in LONDON.

The purpose of COMPLIANCE TECHNICAL MANAGER will be to:

- Be the SME and support the senior management with the delivery and execution of the Compliance Plan.
- Identify and asses the key regulatory risks in relation to business activity and transactions.
- Undertake technical interpretation and analysis of regulatory rules in order to understand operational or other business impacts.
- Provide practical and cost effective solutions to compliance issues.
- Enhance the regulatory risk control environment and the cultural approach to compliance.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Risk and Compliance management systems and the wider risk control framework.
- Contribute to regular and ad hoc compliance reporting processes for submission to management teams.
- Ensure personal technical knowledge of the regulatory environment and requirements is maintained and developed to ensure personal effectiveness.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:

- General insurance experience is essential.
- Financial Services experience is essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical minded and strong data interpretation skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability across the board.
- Able to work well both in a team and individually.
- Motivated and driven.
