The UK Compliance Manager is responsible to the Hawk Type Airworthiness Authority, through the Deputy Hawk Airworthiness Authority, for providing SME advice and guidance on all regulatory, legislative and higher level policy compliance to assist Airworthiness Authority in ensuring adherence to such policy in all on going activities.

In particular, the Compliance Manager is responsible for the following:

* Development and maintenance of a (United Kingdom Military Flying Training System) UKMFTS Compliance Matrix (possibly using the DAT FFP compliance tool), the purpose of which is to identify and capture all internal and external policy which appeals a responsibility, output requirement or deliverable within UKMFTS, across all Type Airworthiness platforms.
* The compliance Matrix should include reference to:
- Regulatory Articles
- Air Safety Management Plans
- Strategy documents
- OC policy
- Defence Standards

* Ensuring that the compliance Matrix identifies the origin of each entry, whether UKMFTS is compliant by detailing AMC/AAMC and assigning an owner against each entry where applicable.
* Liaison with the UKMFTS CARS and SI project manager to ensure that any observations are read across to the compliance Matrix.
* Liaison with the environmental and disposals officer to ensure that all associated legislation and policy is applied to the compliance Matrix.
* Liaison with the MAA as required.
* Informing the Deputy Hawk TAA immediately when a non-compliance or divergence from legislation, regulation or higher policy is identified.
* Reviewing all on going platform tasks and projects against the compliance Matrix to ensure TAA compliance against all extant governance.
* Reviewing the compliance Matrix at a period of every 6-month to ensure the Matrix remains current and relevant against extant policy.
