Compliance Manager

I am currently recruiting for a COMPLIANCE MANAGER FOR AN INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT (LIKLEY TO EXTEND)

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Remediation Compliance Manager provides assurance to the Head of Compliance regarding the effective day to day delivery of compliance advice to the business and the efficiency of the firm's compliance related processes while the business is in its Remediation phases. He/she will be a key point of contact for the function and will provide technical knowledge and experience to both team colleagues, to the remainder of the function and to the business.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A minimum of five years experience in a senior compliance role
- Experience of developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures
- An in-depth knowledge of applicable UK and EU financial services legislation,
- Forward looking pragmatic approach to solving regulatory and business issues
- Good understanding of the financial services, stockbroking, or banking sectors
- Effective interpersonal skills
