Projektbeschreibung

ROLE PURPOSE
To support the business to ensure that it operates in a compliant manner by acting as a business partner by providing, transactional and day to day compliance advice and direction. This includes providing interpretation and judgement in respect of business practices and applicable rules within its scope. Support the development, implementation and ensuring that all compliance policies and initiatives adhere to Regulation and Industry best practice ensuring comprehensive implementation within ACE. Identify external requirements and trends by tracking/analysis of significant legal and regulatory developments that impact the business.

Support the development and delivery of appropriate compliance training and communication activities within the business. To support the Compliance Officer and Compliance Business Manager in ensuring compliance with ACE group business practices, binding authority guidelines and other business compliance requirements.

This role will require flexibility of hours and potential travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the development and review the effectiveness of policies and guidance (arising out of monitoring report findings) to facilitate compliance with legislation, regulations, and codes of practice and ACE Group requirements.

2. Keeping up to date with and regularly report on regulatory change and working with the business units to build an understanding of the impact of such change and facilitate its implementation. Updating compliance universe and upstream regulation log.

3. Establishing and maintaining working relationships with all business units and functions, ACE Global Compliance, ACE legal, regulators and industry associations.

4. Providing compliance advice and technical expertise to the business units and answering ad hoc compliance queries, documenting all advice given. Including due diligence support for business initiatives and reviewing and approving customer facing material Including

5. Contributing to the completion of activities on the compliance plan and reporting on activities and deadlines for example the compliance monthly report. This may include supporting thematic reviews

6. Contributing to the managing and actioning of all compliance related issues identified within the business. Responsible for the tracking, analysis and reporting of all breaches identified.

7 Contributing to the developing the Compliance Risk Assessment within ACE and assessing the effectiveness of controls in place to mitigate these risks.

8. Analysing the results of the compliance monitoring reports provided by the centralised monitoring function to assess areas of compliance vulnerability and make recommendations for business process improvements.

9. Supporting the development of compliance training material and conducting training sessions with the business units to build awareness and test competencies of compliance obligations.

10. Contributing to compliance related projects.

EXPERIENCE

- In depth legislative and regulatory expertise.
- In depth compliance experience working within the Financial Services Industry.
- Significant compliance project management and planning experience.
- Proven experience of implementing regulatory change and implementing or revising compliance policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including delivery of training and presentations.
- Strong relationship building, negotiation, conflict management and influencing skills.
- Proven problem and resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
