Compliance Consultant - Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Core-Asset Consulting's client, a leading savings and investments firm, has a new opportunity for an experienced Compliance Contractor to join their developing business on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will have prior experience in developing a compliance function and broad regulatory knowledge.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to the creation of a new compliance function focused on the business' savings and investment platforms
- Provide regulatory expertise around both direct and intermediary functions such as IFA and WRAP platforms
- Develop compliance processes in line with the Prudential Regulation Authority and Financial Conduct Authority
- Provide strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to process improvement

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

- Previous financial services/investment management experience in a compliance function
- Broad knowledge of regulations governing Client Assets/Trading/Brokerage/SIPPs/ISAs
- Degree educated with relevant professional qualifications desirable
