CAPITA INSURANCE SERVICES works with insurers, brokers, MGAs and affinity partners throughout the industry to deliver expert support throughout the insurance life cycle in the UK and internationally. Sitting within this division, BDML SERVICES specialise in personal insurance including motor, home, and pet insurance and insurance for small and medium sized firms both under own brands (Masterquote, Aquote and 1stQuote) and for affinities, including Asda Pet and Virgin Money.

We are looking for a COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT to support the CID compliance team in Portsmouth and the BDML business. The business has had a new management team over the last 12 months and is undergoing a period of transformation. This means the current compliance team are overstretched as they address BAU actions as well as Project requirements.

The successful COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT with be responsible for analysing how websites function, reviewing documentation and providing advise on compliance issues. In addition, they will be reviewing existing policies and procedures and suggesting and implementing changes.

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for an individual with demonstrable experience of the following:

- Significant previous experience in a compliance function within a General Insurance broker/intermediary or General Insurance company
- Knowledge of retail insurance or a contact centre environment
- Understanding of the requirements for change from FSA to FCA and the impact of CIDRA (Consumer Insurance Disclosure Requirement Act 2013) on the insurance industry

The suitable candidate must be an innovative, self-motivated individual with a professional attitude and exceptional stakeholder manager skills.
