Compliance Analyst

Compliance Analyst required for global investment bank

Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day functions to support Senior Management, including managing a team of (approx 10) direct reports. Responsible for conducting the teams annual performance reviews as well as addressing under performance issues. Provide support to other Lines of Business. Ensure reports meet SLA, understand and address any concerns/delays. Ensure the teams standard operating procedures are up-to-date at all times. Mentor and coach team members and identify training opportunities Maintain staff/LOB metrics & provide analysis/summary reporting to Senior Management. Exercise sound judgment and observe the highest degree of confidentiality.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent required Supervisory, Management and/or Team Leadership experience 2-3 years experience in financial services industry and/or AML/KYC expertise. Knowledge of internal systems, applications and due diligence processes, Strong conflict resolution, problem solving skills & quick decision-making ability. Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in high -pressure environment. Detailed, well organized, self starter and capable of working under minimal supervision. Adherence to controls and standards. Solid written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize and present findings for both reporting team performance and case escalations to Senior Management. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint), documentation and metrics.
