Compliance Analyst

Yoh has a Fulltime - Contract opportunity for a COMPLIANCE ANALYST to join our client in Charlotte, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Compliance Analyst that will primarily responsible for providing support and contribution into developing and implementing expectations, strategies, objectives, initiatives and measures pertaining to NERC CIP compliance.
- Compliance Analyst provides support and contributes to the on-going strategy of the NERC CIP Compliance program to meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Compliance Analyst demonstrates in-depth knowledge of NERC CIP compliance controls, regulatory matters, security, business applications, and critical infrastructure.
- Compliance Analyst provides support towards consultation, interpretation, administration, and implementation of contractual, regulatory, and reliability documents. Composes responses to legal and regulatory inquiries.
- Serves as an interface between team members, business units, support groups, corporate areas, contractors, and vendors to ensure appropriate communication and problem resolution.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Compliance Analyst with at least three to five (3-5) years of experience.
- Compliance Analyst with a Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and at least two (2) years utility, cyber security, auditing, compliance, regulatory or related experience with at least one (1) year NERC CIP compliance or Industrial Control System cyber security experience. Or, at least six (6) years utility, cyber security, auditing, compliance, regulatory or related experience with at least one (1) year NERC CIP compliance or Industrial Control System cyber security experience.
- Demonstrated good listening skills and ability to put forth the effort to understand others points of view.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in use of tools and procedures for the NERC CIP program.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of integrity.
- Preferred: Able to work effectively with minimally defined direction requiring some degree of judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with some supervisory review and direction.
- Demonstrated excellent listening and communication skills; able to present complex information in an understandable manner (both verbal and written) to peer levels within the organization and multiple levels within the organization as well as regulatory entities and other utility representatives.
- Demonstrated ability to absorb change and continue with positive results.
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit confidence and a proper level of assertiveness when needed; displays maturity in approach and ability to effectively handle stress and frustration.
