Compliance Advice Manager - Financial Services

COMPLIANCE ADVICE MANAGER

A Compliance Advice Manager with compliance and risk experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our prestigious financial services client based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Our Firm and Culture team is at the forefront of providing Real Time compliance advice to the business. The role is exceptionally varied and supports a range of business areas.

Working alongside others in the team, including a Head of Compliance Advice, as a subject matter expert, you will take the lead on advising the relevant business areas how the regulatory standards apply to their BAU activities and significant projects as they seek to launch new products, change their approach to distribution and adjust to regulatory change

Day-to-day you will work with colleagues from across the business at all levels up to and including approved persons, engaging with them to understand their strategic aims and support them achieving these in a way that puts customers at the heart of the decision-making.

Looking ahead and to the side you will consider competitor performance to keep us in step with current compliance standards. Over the year you will support the wider department in its responses to scheduled Financial Conduct Authority reviews.

You will also assist the development of the business' compliance and risk profile.

We are therefore looking for an individual with great Financial Services industry knowledge, the ability to identify and respond to complex emerging issues and motivate others to work together to provide the business with commercially focused solutions, whilst maintaining our reputation with the regulators.

You'll develop regulatory expertise within the division, and across the wider Group to ensure our compliance culture is Embedded.

The role is based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This is commutable from London, the South East, the Midlands, the South West, and South Wales.
