Completions Engineer - Permian

Our client ranked one of the top 20 independant E&P operators in the US is seeking a lead Completions Engineer for their Houston office.
Position Description:
* Lead all aspects of horizontal completion operations, including planning and daily operational support.
* Provide scoping, budget and AFE quality cost estimates for all support areas.
* Generate high quality completion procedures and post well summaries.
* Track and report on day-to-day operational performance and costs.
* Provide technical, engineering and operational recommendations to the multi-disciplined Asset Team.
* Mentor to other Completion Engineers

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of oil and gas industry related experience, 10+ years preferred.
* Skilled in all MS software.
* Strong and demonstrated background and understanding of NPV, ROR and drivers, optimizing factors and variables in completion design.
* Demonstrated background in modeling and design, cost and NPV optimization.
* Must be skilled in technical aspects of completions - theory, design and implementation, evaluation.
* Demonstrated ability to process information quickly, effectively manage multiple tasks and to generate and implement organizational performance improvement ideas.
* Strong leadership and project management skills. Proven decision making skills.
* Strong and demonstrated work ethic, works best in teams and is very collaborative.
* Able to support ideas and recommendations with logic, economics and a sound technical basis.
* Proficient in oral and written communication skills, including technical writing abilities.
* Equally effective working independently or in a team environment, with minimal supervision
