Completion Engineers - Australia, Africa, North Sea - Competition

COMPLETIONS ENGINEER - ABERDEEN

Our client is a large international Oil & Gas company with operations covering the entire energy chain, looking for a completions engineer for a six month contract position based in Aberdeen.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Perform completion/testing engineering eg preparation, SOW, basis of design, operation programmes
- Prepare completion/testing programmes/end of well reports and co-ordinate other specialist inputs
- Undertake technical studies and apply technical skills
- Liaise closely with Operations to support implementation of engineering work plans, providing live completion/testing engineering support to operations
- Effective contract management of contracts (operational cost) with a view to optimising value and to take decisions with respect to same in relation to job holder's technical specialism

Qualifications/Experience:

BSc or MSC or equivalent in appropriate engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Offshore or Petroleum) with significant years experience in well engineering

Current certificates to go offshore
