Complaints Subject Matter Advisor - Contract

OUR CLIENT, A LARGE BANKING ORGANISATION, IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A SENIOR LEVEL COMPLAINTS ADVISOR TO WORK ON A LARGE PROGRAMME DUE TO RUN THROUGHOUT 2013.

The candidate should have a good working knowledge of both Interest Rate Derivatives and be able to provide advice on an on-going basis to relevant teams on FSA COBS and other rules on the end to end sales processes. They will be managing a small team of advisors and should be able to liaise with various stakeholders across the business.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

- To assess whether a decision on a point of precedent/clarification needs to be made by the escalation panel and if so prepare and present the matter to this panel
- To own the update of the guidance notes and any changes thereto
- Demonstrates a good understanding of the sales advisory process for SME derivatives and has a good working knowledge of derivative products
- Has a proven track record in advising on FSA compliance and financial risk management as well as TCF
- Knowledge of good regulatory practices and quality assurance business review controls
