Community Psychiatric Nurse - Rotherham

Our client has a job vacancy for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to work within an Older Peoples Service in Rotherham. This position has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 20-25 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties-
- Working alongside other members of the Older Peoples Outreach Service and Community Mental Health Team in the provision of outreach support to older people on the OPCMHT caseload in their own homes and communities who may benefit from a Recovery Focussed approach and additional support.
- Managing a client caseload within a defined clinical area of the Community Mental Health Team and promote positive mental health. To provide safe, sound and supportive mental health services by joint working within a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Co-ordinating the work of the other members of the OP Outreach Team, ensuring that they are able to provide defined and agreed interventions within the community.

Requirements -
- You must have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience within a Mental Health Team.
- You must have an understanding of your responsibilities under the Care programme Approach, Clinical Governance, Risk Assessment and Child Protection Legislation & NSF's.
- You must have at least a years experience working within the community
