Band 6 Child & Adolescent Community Psychiatric Nurse - North East London

Our client has a job vacancy for a Band 6 Child & Adolescent Community Psychiatric Nurse to work in North East London. This position has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 26-28 per hour.

Duties -
- Providing specialist therapeutic intervention for looked after children, and their carer, with particular emphasis on children in transition and placement planning.
- Developing close relationships with professionals within Children's Services, Tier 3 CAMHS and other appropriate agencies.
- Offering assessment and clinical support and treatment to children and adolescents with mental health problems.
- Providing support and consultation and advice to professionals across Tiers 1 to 4 in multi-agency settings.
- Working in an inclusive manner ensuring services are provided to young people, their families and carers.
- Providing specialist advice and treatment for children who are in transition between carers and advice to other professionals about the mental health needs in such situations.

Requirements -
- All applicants must have a RMN first level registration, valid NMC pin.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
- Understanding by the post holder of their responsibilities under the Mental Health Act 1983.
