Community Psychiatric Nurse - Channel Islands

Our client has a job vacancy for a Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an Adult Mental Health Services in the Channel Islands. This position has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 26-30 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties -
- To work as part of a multidisciplinary team in undertaking the role of the Care Coordinator in delivery of a quality community mental health service under the framework of Unified Assessment and the Care Programme Approach.
- To assess, implement and evaluate agreed care plans for each individual on the caseload which has been previously been agreed with the service users/carers.
- To work autonomously but under the indirect supervision of a Band 7 registered nurse / team manager and in conjunction with band 5 nurses and unregistered Band 3 health care assistants and colleague from the Local - Authority in delivery of a supportive service for those people under the care of the CMHT.
- Responsible for a designated caseload for people referred to and under the care of the CMHT.

Requirements -
- All applicants must have a RMN first level registration, valid NMC pin.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
- At least a years experience working within a community setting.
