Community Psychiatric Nurse - Channel Islands

Our client has a job vacancy for a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to work in an Older Peoples Outreach Service within the Channel Islands. This position has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 26-30 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties -
- To work alongside other members of the Older Peoples Outreach Service and Community Mental Health Team in the provision of outreach support to older people on the OPCMHT caseload in their own homes and communities who may benefit from a Recovery Focused approach and additional support.
- To manage a client caseload within a defined clinical area of the Community Mental Health Team and promote positive mental health. To provide safe, sound and supportive mental health services by joint working within a multi-disciplinary setting.
- To maintain high standard of individualised client care, recognising factors and events that are likely to affect the mental, emotional and physical well-being of clients/carers and provide advice and support when required.

Requirements -
- All applicants must have a RMN first level registration, valid NMC pin.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
- At least a years experience working within a community setting.
