Community Mental Health Practitioner (PART TIME) West Yorkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Practitioner to join an NHS team in the West Yorkshire area. This is a part time post Monday to Friday (3 days per week) on a week by week contract for an initial 3 month contract with view to extend. The position is band 6 paying 18-20 per hour (Limited Company) depending on experience. The service is looking for someone to start ASAP.

*The ideal candidate must be able to carry a community case load of 18-65 year old mental health patients, working across clinics and patients' homes in providing high quality care.
*Must be prepared to work in a high pressured environment and be a comfortable, effective and organised lone worker.
*To perform detailed risk assessments in diagnosing and treating multifaceted mental health issues and to manage and administer medications including depot injections as part of the treatment of the individual.
*To work effectively as part of a MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) and liaise with other mental healthcare professionals.
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker who is currently registered with the HCPC or a Qualified Mental Health Nurse who is currently registered with the NMC. A
*Must have a minimum 6 months working in Community Mental Health in areas such as CMHT, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Crisis Resolution, Primary Care etc.
*Must hold a full valid driving license and a car is essential to use as part of the job role.
