Community Mental Health Nurse - Channel Islands

Our client has a job vacancy for a Community Mental Health Nurse (CMHN) to work within the Channel Islands. This position has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 26-30 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties -
To be responsible as the Care Coordinator for the assessment and coordination of care needs, planning and implementation of evidence based care to a defined group of service users and their carers within a defined catchment area/locality
To provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multidisciplinary team, and act up for the Team Manager in their absence as appropriate
To act as a role model and resource for junior/less experienced staff
Will be responsible for the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters, and have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation, which govern current service provision and audit.

Requirements -
- All applicants must have a RMN first level registration, valid NMC pin.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
- At least a years experience working within a community setting.
