Community Mental Health Nurse

Castlerock Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced and competent Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work full time for our client based in Plymouth. This post is Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating patient care. The candidate must have excellent prioritisation skills as they will work independently. Previous experience in team leading is essential as the nurse will be required supervise junior members of staff and liaise with other professionals to ensure the smooth running of the unit.

The candidate must be competent in the following areas:
-Cannulation, Venepuncture,ALS and Support Learning
-Allocation and supervision of all staff to cover the 24 hour workday within the unit
-Written and IT literacy to enable clear and accurate recording of assessments, planning care and evaluation of nursing care.

Essential:
-A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
-Able to maintain high standards of documentation in accordance with the NMC at all times
-Work within own level of competence with reference to the NMC code of professional conduct

Desriable:
-Previous experience in complex trauma rehabilisation or neulogical rehabilisation, as the unit may require additional support at times.
-Previous experience within the MoD
