Projektbeschreibung

Role Objective:
* Will support community and volunteering adviser, specifically supporting Water Champions and charitable giving.
* To protect and promote the reputation of Severn Trent among colleagues and in the wider community through effective internal communications and good corporate responsibility.
* Promoting the use of new technologies including the Intranet and introducing new ones, including social networks.
* The role will work alongside the Community and Volunteering adviser to develop and deliver effective internal communications campaigns and initiatives in support of overall business objectives and business change initiatives.
* Working as part of an effective internal communications 'network', ensuring the consistent and joined-up communication of corporate messages and the sharing of best practice.

Key Accountabilities:
* Managing our relationships with schools
* Assist in delivering our employee volunteering programme 'Water Champions', ensuring colleagues are fully informed and engaged.
* Assist in managing local community events, sponsorships and initiatives.
* Assist in developing a consistent high employee engagement score and in particular, positive feedback around matters related to 'Water Champions'.
* Aware of business vision and direction.
* Deliver creative and high impact colleague communications relating to Water Champions and community engagement.
* Work as part of the wider internal communication network community within STW, ensuring the sharing of best practice and co-ordinated messaging.
* Understand how STW colleagues work, interact and communicate, acting as the 'eyes and ears' of the business.

Experience:
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:
Essential
* Experience of internal communications working in-house for a large corporate or public sector organization
* Experience of delivering internal communications to support the community and volunteering vision which supports the internal communications strategy.
* Experience of delivering measurable internal communications campaigns to effect change in behaviours or approaches, including the use of social media.
* Experience of managing organizational change initiatives.

Desirable
* Experience of Intranet development, including the Content Management System, 'Sharepoint 1'
* Experience of communicating with diversified workforces across a number of locations and business units.

Capabilities:
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Enthusiasm and engaged with corporate responsibility
* Able to engage at all levels primarily within the business, but also externally where necessary
* Demonstrable innovative and creative thinking skills
* Confident in presenting the Water Champions training programme to all levels

Qualifications:
Essential
* GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or equivalent level of qualification

Desirable
* 'Train the Trainer' or equivalent qualification
