COMMUNIQUE/CQ5 DEVELOPER - V5.5/JAVA/PORTLETS/SERVLETS/JSPS
A top Systems Integrator are looking for a CQ5 Developer to join a project with a global Financial Services organisation based in Zurich, Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long term project on a CONTRACT basis for 6 - 12 Months + extensions.
You will participate in the implementation of a large enterprise CQ5 initiative and will be responsible for design and development of web applications using the Adobe CQ5 platform, including, but not limited to, designing and developing site structure, custom components, custom workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), implementation strategy, and unit testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translates business requirements into technical details relevant to Adobe CQ5
- Resolve user-identified functional and technical issues relating to Adobe CQ5
- Design and implement modular and extensible CQ5 WCM components and services to suit the CQ5 requirements and following the industry standards
- Development and deployment of complex enterprise level CQ5 WCM application
- Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the CQ5 core platform
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation
SKILLS:
- Approx 5 years of web application development experience with 2-3 years of web content management system experience working with one or more CMS packages, including Adobe CQ5 version 5.3 or above
- In-depth knowledge of CQ5 foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the CQ5 platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix
- Solid understanding of all CQ5 building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the CQ5 development and deployment process
- Hands on experience is required on Java, Java EE, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Ajax, XML, JQuery and JSON web technologies
