Communications Writer

Communications writer required by a leading financial services client in London. The successful candidate will be working within the existing communications team and will be responsible for a broad range of internal and external written communications in response to a legal restructure of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with a range of stakeholders to gather source material, and to ensure communications are appropriately written, approved and delivered on time
- Draft and prepare communications and other relevant materials in Word, PowerPoint and other media to fulfil plans
- Develop and maintain stakeholder, communications and project plans and management of plan implementation
- Coordinate and closely track and monitor multiple communications
- Development and maintenance of project artefacts and templates, and Intranet
- Development of ad hoc communications materials on request
- Coordinate and track resources and contributing parties to ensure com munications are on track and completed accurately and on time

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Excellent written internal and external communications skills
- Experience writing for a wide range of internal and external audiences in non-technical language
- Experience in preparing FAQs, Intranet articles, and customer facing documentation
- Experience in working with a range of stakeholder to develop and deliver communications
- Strong facilitator experienced in requirements gathering, reviewing, approving and coordinating communications.
- Able to coordinate and track multiple communications simultaneously
- Good co-ordination and project management skills
- Knowledge of legal communications an advantage
