Communications Specialist 50% with profound Commercialisation knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline in addition to good understanding of MS Office programs, SharePoint, etc., and adaptability to change agreed working hours for important projects
- Flexibility to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by changing needs as well as ability to manage multiple high detail deadline-sensitive projects with a high level of quality
- Self-starter and fast learner who can lead projects independently as well as in partnership with other members of the Communications team (local and global)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in addition to superb oral and written communication skills coupled with Intelligence and poise to work with executives, good collaboration skills to work with key partners
- Demonstrated experience in effective use of electronic channels, social media channels and knowledge of graphic programs such as Photoshop is a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus

YOUR TASKS:

- Maintaining weekly newsletter in addition to developing and distributing relevant Basel based messaging and communication through multiple channels (site wide Emails, Intranet, Yammer, Scala Digital screens)
- Organise and schedule lab tours as well as collaborating with scientists and other key stakeholders for tour requests
- Managing key message material used by scientists and VIP hostesses coupled with planning, managing and executing high profile local and global events
- Conducting on-site logistics in setting up and executing events successfully in addition to administrative support
- Monitoring external Communications Outlook mailbox as well as managing vendor contracts, invoices, and travel expenses for the company's Head of Communications
