One of our large investment banking clients is looking for and experienced Communications Specialist to join their team

Responsible for leading the execution of Communication & Employee Engagement activities to deliver increased employee engagement and support the day to day running of the business

Responsible for
Developing and driving the Communication
* Creating and delivering on a comprehensive communications strategy annually, on behalf of the senior executives of the division. The plan must ensure that strategic priorities and key initiatives of the business are understood and implemented. Utilisation of an integrated channel mix including Town Halls, emails, intranets, networking events, newsletters etc
* Managing complex relationship structures across the EMEA region to ensure key socialisation and buy-in is secured.
* Embedding of key initiatives for the region eg brand values and commitments, 2014 priorities, learning curriculum.
* Providing connectivity between team and the US and within all lines of business regionally to ensure consistency.
* Lead all employee engagement activities (strategic and tactical) to drive employee satisfaction and achieve high score in the annual enterprise employee survey networking events
* Lead the communication strategy as part of the division's site strategy programme, which involves site consolidation and employee relocation/severance. Assist with business case development.
* Lead the Community and Social Responsibility efforts for the division, engaging employees to participate in community volunteering and fundraising.
* Manage various other programmes including: Change management cultural programme (Transformation Talks), employee mentoring programme, student internship programme, employee reward and recognition programme and compliance training programme.
* Ensure regular routines are completed eg reporting of progress locally and to global contacts, team meetings, promotion of local success via global channels.
* Take a hands-on approach for all communications and project related initiatives
* Manage 1 employee

Requirements:
* Strong B5 or equivalent grade
* Communications or Marketing degree
* Communications or marketing experience or project management experience with strong business communication skills
* Employee Engagement experience desirable
* Passion for Diversity and Inclusion
* Takes a hands-on approach
* Attention to detail
* Experience of people managing
* Ability and confidence to interact and influence senior leaders
