Communications Officer

Our client is currently looking for a Communications Officer to manage a wide range of communication schedules within their program and ensure correct alignment of program communications with other communication activities.

THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF THE ROLE IS ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT OF THE ORGANISATIONS INTRANET SITE AND CREATION AND PROMOTION OF INTERNAL social media platforms.

Skills and experience needed:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results driven with effective consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven ability in communication strategy implementation with a demonstrated successful outcome
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a communications environment
- Experience in a technology area would be well regarded
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively with websites and graphics for greatest visual and content impact
- Knowledge and experience in the use of online web development tools, preferably Squiz Matrix CMS
- Good project management skills
- Effective time management
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant area

- Yammer
- Microsoft Suite of products
