COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (PART TIME - 3 DAYS A WEEK)

LOCATION: White City, London

DURATION:  Initial 6 months

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This is an exciting new opportunity for a part time Communications Manager consultant to work for one of our public sector clients.

The Communications Manager is required to produce an internal communications strategy in regards to a going SAP financials system upgrade.

The role will require the Communications Manager to work 3 days a week for this long term project. The role will be primarily based onsite at White City and there will be the opportunity of home working.

Reporting to Steria's Client Director, the Communications Manager will be responsible for:

- Develop an integrated communications plan illustrating the approach and type of activities that will be used to promote the SAP programme's strategic intent and to support implementation of new and enhanced services scheduled for delivery during the programme
- Plan, schedule, draft and publish communications for appropriate media - face to face, email and webpages
- Developing communications to Finance, Procurement and Administration teams about know the SAP system upgrade
- Coordinate communications delivery activities between central client communications and the Local Communications Teams to ensure consistent and coordinated delivery of messages to the business
- Maintain a stakeholder engagement plan, and identify engagement activities with key stakeholders to ensure key stakeholders are engaged at the right level, at the right time and in the most effective manner

The required skills for the Communications Manager are:

- Experience of developing effective and practical internal communications strategies for a commercial provider to a large and diverse organisation
- Experience of dealing with multiple senior stakeholders
- Experience of constructing communications across various forms of media
- Experience of working within the media or broadcasting industry would be an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
