Communications Manager (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Develop, own and implement communications plans for selected initiatives and projects, collaborating with business stakeholders
- Work with communications agencies to develop and implement creative ways of communicating key initiatives
- Produce a variety of high quality written materials including news articles, social media posts, key messages and leadership communications
- Project management, ensuring progression and tracking of tactical implementation
- In collaboration with the Communications Director, develop and maintain the communication strategy to support business strategy
- Co-creating large scale leadership events that include creative event design, work stream leadership and acting as single point of contact for external presenters
- Manage executive external presence – media interviews, LinkedIn thought leadership, engagement, speaking opportunities – logistical support, opportunity assessment, liaison with organizers, content and briefings preparation
- Manage reactive and proactive media opportunities working with Head of External Comms and Global Media Relations  
- Issue management as necessary, drafting media statements and Q&A and organize, manage and occasionally film iphone videos featuring key GDD leaders
- Act as community manager on Yammer and leverage internal stakeholders to post on internal social media – highlighting opportunities, drafting posts for them where appropriate
- Use measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through new initiatives and activities
- Educate stakeholders and associates on key social media tools and how to use them effectively
- Publish news articles on the intranet and send mass mails when required

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree in relevant area (strategic communications, internal communications)
- Highly proficient in English (read/write/speak) other languages (desirable) 
- Profound experience in internal communication/relevant area
- Profound experience managing social media platforms or communities
- Track record of successfully managing and implementing communication plans
- Ability to network and communicate with GDD at Global, regional and country levels
- Experience developing and implementing tactical plans that build and nurture online communities
- Experience locating and engaging advocates within the community to foster dialogue
- Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve communication goals
- Experience of educating and integrating the needs of internal customers
