COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, DESKTOP MIGRATION, PHARMA (CONTRACT, BASEL)

For our client, one of the most recognizable pharmaceutical brands in Switzerland, Swisslinx are looking for a Communications Manager to work on a global Desktop migration project in Basel.

This is a six month contract with strong change of extension starting in February 2016.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following skills and experience:

- 5 years of relevant experience in multinational company
- Proven track record of communications roles in projects of similar complexity
- Experience in change projects in the pharma industry strongly desired
- Experience in desktop migration projects a plus
- Structured approach, problem-solving, flexible and self-directed with analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German nice to have)
- Strong interest in new technologies and familiar with Google Suite (esp. gSites and G+ forums)

In your role as Communications Manager you will work on a global Windows 10 desktop migration with many dependencies across business and IT. You will support the Windows 10+ OCM lead and other project streams with generating communications material for various media (slides, targeted emails, newsletters, g+ forum posts etc.) and support preparation and execution of kick-off workshops.

In addition you will support the OCM lead to formulate a plan on how to involve the stakeholders in the regions and the business functions; support definition of communication strategy and prepare defined communication material.

During the later project phases, you will prepare the communication templates the sites will use to communicate with the end-users before, during and after the migrations as well as newsletters, g+ forum posts etc. about the project progress and updates for management.
