COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Where: BaselStart date: 03.01.2018Duration: 1 year
Major Accountabilities
* Develop, own and implement communications plans for selected organizational initiatives and projects
* Work with communications agencies to develop and implement creative ways of com-municating key initiatives
* Produce a variety of written materials including news articles, social media posts
* Ensure key content themes and messages are integrated into communications plans and materials/events
* Proactively generate and contribute to conversations on internal social media channels
* Respond to comments posted on internal social media
* Review user generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner
* Use measurement tools to provide reports on metrics
* Educate stakeholders and associates on key social media tools and how to use them effectively
* Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brand.
* Contribute to the development of the internal content and channel strategy.
* Create and maintain content and editorial calendars
* Publish news articles on the Intranet and send mass mails when required
Ideal Background
* Minimum: University degree in relevant area (strategic communications, internal communications,)
* Highly proficient in English (read/write/speak)
* Other languages (desirable)
* 5+ years in internal communication/relevant area
* 2 to 3 years' experience managing social media platforms or communities
* Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals
