Communications Manager

Edinburgh: Communications Manager - £350 per day. EA Change Group's Edinburgh based Banking client urgently requires a motivated and enthusiastic communication manager to join them on a contract basis.

The successful candidate would be working on a Life and Pensions transformation programme.

The role reports to the Head of People Workstream, however provides communications and stakeholder management support across the scope of the whole programme. They also need to support the Head of PMO in the production of senior stakeholder materials/collateral
Agree an Insurance Customer Delivery Transformation programme communication scope and approach covering channels, media and articulating key messages

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Creativity - ability to build and deliver engaging messages
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent PowerPoint skills
- Publisher skills
- The role will support senior workstream leads and also execs - good stakeholder and relationship management skills are required
- Ability to handle ambiguity
- Work in a Matrix programme environment and contribute/adhere to programme governance eg producing milestone plans, reporting, management of risks and issues
- Must have experience of either undertaking a strategic communication leadership role ... or significant programme experience with a people/communication specialism
- Has experience and understanding of a financial services company
