Communications Manager

The Communications Manager will assist the Maintenance Reform Program to ensure a robust approach to managing communications across a large scale government program. Due to the environment and the potential impact of current initiatives on staff, there is a strong need to ensure that communications issues are adequately managed. You will work alongside Team Leads to lead the effort.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Developing and coordinating messages around the Program
- Developing a details Communications Plan for the Program
- Manage Program communication channels
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and assess communications needs
- Liaise with other communications staff to ensure consistency.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Tertiary qualifications in Communications or a similar field
- Extensive experience in managing Comms issues in a heavily unionised environment
- Experience in managing Comms during change programs
- Ability to deal with Executive, operational and staff levels
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
- Proven experience working to tight timeframes in a changing environment
