Communications Manager

Our blue chip digital broadcaster provider client requires an experienced communications manager to work on a contract basis from the site in West London.

The successful candidate will join an established Brand and Communications team that have overall responsibility for setting the brand strategy, vision and creative direction for all teams and agencies working on project communications, reporting directly to the communications controller. The aim is to build and grow from a young start-up brand to a number one player in the video on demand market (OTT).

. Educated to degree level.

. 4 years+ communications experience

. Experience working with agencies

. Experience of working on a digital brand and/or in digital media

. Experience in building engagement with content brands

. Experience in formulating, managing and delivering PR campaigns

. Media and creative understanding

. A knowledge and passion for movies, entertainment and sport.

. Knowledge of video on demand (OTT) services and understanding of video on demand (OTT) and commercial landscape.

. Excellent writing skills

. Ability to prioritise effectively and works accurately and well under pressure and to tight deadlines

. Hard working with a can do and proactive attitude

. Experience of managing suppliers, external agencies and third parties

. Ability to work collaboratively and strong leadership organisational skills are essential

. Agile and nimble operator who can operate in a fast-moving and changing environment

. Ability to cope under pressure.
