COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER with STRONG EDITORIAL AND PROOF-READING EXPERIENCE required for INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR organisation in EDINBURGH.

You will be required to develop consistent narratives/key messages, along with associated visuals, graphics, diagrams and case studies. This will include consideration of how materials and information could be adapted to meet a range of communications activities, including speaking opportunities, newsletters and the website.

Duties will include:

- Analyse current communication methods
- Develop communication narratives including graphic designs across policy areas and change programmes to facilitate understanding of the programme approach
- Monitor and assess project/programme progression including milestone reviews
- Prepare written guidance and delivery workshops for colleagues to develop skills/capacity to maintain/develop new narratives

Essential Skills:

- Extensive editorial and proof reading experience
- Ability to digest large amounts of information and distil it into clear, concise and easily understandable language
- Track record of working to tight deadlines
- It would be highly desirable if you had a recognised qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations

Candidates will be required to either already hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
