Communications Lead - HR

HR COMMUNICATIONS LEAD - HR CONTENT - GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS

My global client is looking for a skilled Communications/change lead with strong commercial background with change communications at an enterprise-wide level, preferably involving some form of IT/technology/portal or HR comms agenda.

You must be a communications professionals, with experience of liaising with central project offices. This is to join an existing programe there's been work on stakeholders, and there's a draft communications plan - the right person will need to critique/validate/adapt this.

The role holder will be responsible for communications across the user population (HR, leaders, managers, employees) with the broad objectives of engaging users, generating awareness and interest, fostering a sense of community and engagement, building an understanding of HR's priorities and direction, and ensuring a timely and accurate flow of information

This is a fast pased project/environment, so you must you will need to be driven, well organised, level headed and able to get up-to-speed quickly.
Similarly, they don't want 'project communications' - those that have worked on 'intra updates' within a project itself, and not been outwardly focused.

BACKGROUND
A strong commercial background with change communications at an enterprise-wide level, preferably involving some form of IT/technology/portal or HR comms agenda.
Experience of setting up and mobilising 'change agent' networks in the business a major plus.
Experience of working with a network of contacts, consultants and/or suppliers, including video production and creative agencies
Engaging writer with experience delivering messages to a variety of audiences and cultures.
Good understanding of new and emerging communication technologies

KEY SKILLS
Formulate, own and deliver the My HR communications framework
Develop and manage a detailed communications plan and tools
Coordinate related events, including webinars, demo sessions etc.
Liaise with communication channel owners to leverage communication channels eg HR Intranet, Town Halls, Webinars
Develop methods to measure the impact of communication activities and produce reporting metrics to track activity and impact
Work with design/production vendors on commissioning video, artwork and related collateral
Manage the communications budget and update the project lead on a regular basis
