Communications Lead/Consultant

IT Communication Lead/Consultant required on an initial 3 months contract up to £450 per day depending on experience (please note this daily rate would include occasional travel between local sites in Warwickshire and Leicestershire, expenses for fuel will not be paid on top of that). Successful candidate will be responsible for all of the internal communications.

Primary Responsibilities:
*Shape and deliver an overall communications plan
*Co-ordinate communication for HR, CIO, HR/IT Business Partners and Group PMO
*Support and offer guidance to programme and project managers with their communications plans
*Shape employee/colleague communications, quarterly updates and conferences
*Create or organise production of communications materials, such as newsletters, updates, promotional videos and presentations
*Support HR in the management of action plans
*Site Owner for Intranet sites

Experience Required

*Strong communications background
*Ability to work with senior HR/IT professionals, up to and including HR Director/CIO level
*Excellent written English, strong copywriting experience and proof reading skills
*A degree in English, Communications or Journalism advantageous
*Awareness of the value and benefits of Information Systems and technology
*Creative and yet detailed oriented individual
*Experience of complex change programmes where communications are key to their success
