Communications Executive (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Responsible for the coordination of the conceptualization, development and support of web-based solutions applied to the research on systems biology
-Responsible for the external communications of the project, through participation in conferences, organization of congresses and workshops, publication of articles and advertisements in academic journals, magazines and websites
-Responsible for reviewing articles and website contents for consistency and clarity (in English)
-Own the internal approval cycle for all external communications
-Prepare budgets, request quotations, make contractual arrangements and control suppliers' invoices
-Coordinate the activities of 10+ suppliers that support or contribute to the content development and publication
-Support of the project manager to drive the activities within agreed objective, scope, budget, resources and timing, within required quality and scientific standards
-Anticipate and mobilise cross-functional resources when required (e.g. corporate affairs, legal, scientists, 3rd party suppliers and consultants, etc.)
-Drive communication and co-ordination for the success of the projects and submit/present project status reports and other project information to project manager, key stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis and as requested

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Experience in external communications
-Experience in multinational companies and on project involving multiple companies
-Knowledge of the sbv IMPROVER project
-University degree in life sciences and/or communications
-Work experience in both communications and life sciences
-Work experience in managing small projects or teams
