Triodos Bank is looking to recruit a PR and communications executive, based in Bristol.

Purpose
To support the Communications team in all aspects of the Bank's PR and communications activity.

This includes traditional corporate communications, media relations, online communications and social media relations, customer communications including the customer magazine and e-zine, internal communications, business development and, to a greater degree, provide administrative support.

About the role:

Reporting to the head of communications, your key responsibilities will be:

To manage the media coverage tool, and provide ongoing support to the team on measurement, monitoring, analysis and reporting
To help monitor and communicate via the bank's active social media channels with a focus on twitter
To manage the media database and media / industry / blogger contact lists, providing updates to the team and elsewhere within the business as required
To maintain the PR / communications and content plans in conjunction with the Communications and Marketing teams
To manage sourcing and storage of all Bank photography
To help draft the Bank's regular and ad-hoc ezines and help manage distribution via the CRM tool
To manage website and intranet updates and undertake further outreach where appropriate
To support the communications officer, content manager and head of communications with creation of proactive PR materials such as issues commentary, media releases / story packages, sourcing and development of customer case studies etc
To assist and support on organisation and promotion of internal and external events
To provide research and copywriting support where appropriate
To manage incoming PR enquiries, distributing to the team where appropriate
To support on occasional customer communications
To support the Compliance team on communications issues and updates, where required
To support the management of the Communications team budget and purchase orders
Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

About you:

A self-starter, multi-tasker and a problem solver; initiative-driven and a person who understands deadlines, with excellent attention to detail. A friendly persona and 'can do' attitude combined with an affinity to the Triodos values.

Enthusiasm, perseverance, strong organisational and administrative skills and good written and verbal communication skills are important, together with experience or a developed interest in communications or PR, including social media, and an interest in current affairs.
