Communications Business Partner

My client, a global FMCG organisation is currently seeking interim cover for the role of Communications Business partner with Group Customer Service Excellence.

The role will cover January to May 2014 with a possibility of extension and will be a on a 2 to 3 day a week basis (days flexible). The role holder will provide communications support for the VP Group Customer Service Excellence and the Leadership Team for the global team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/DELIVERABLES

1. Internal - General Communications
Support content creation and technical delivery
Lead the refresh of the Sharepoint Intranet site to reflect current strategy
Deliver virtual Let's Tea Break sessions via Go To Meeting
Source, edit and publish Group articles

2. Internal - Programme Communications Suite
Develop and deliver a suite of professional, aligned communication material to promote Group Programmes across internal channels (with some Customer exposure)
Work with Programme Leads to develop key messages, narrative, core presentation, FAQs and case studies
Ensure clear line of sight to strategy and Compass ambition
Liaise with Leadership Team and Customer Development Comms for alignment and sign off

3. Internal - Programme Specific Support
Group Plan film production - liaise with 3rd party agency to produce 2 short films on time and to budget
Additional Programme Specific support to be agreed by 5th December 2013

4. External
Support leadership Team with requests for external speaking opportunities
Liaise with Supply Chain Communications Director to ensure protocol is followed

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Required
>Significant experience in an internal communications role in a complex global environment
>A good eye for design and experience of developing content and design for campaign material
>Experience of coordinating and delivery virtual meetings
>Good creative management skills including creation, management and delivery of a creative
brief, excellent copywriting and editing skills and working with 3rd party on film production
>Ability to translate complex information into simple, concise messages appropriate to the audience

Desirable
>Working knowledge of Sharepoint
>Experience of Live Meeting, Adobe Connect and Go To Meeting
>Graphic design experience
>Experience of working within a Supply Chain environment, particularly Customer Service
