Communications and Network Engineer- Secret Clearance Job

COMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORK ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Quantico, Virginia.

POSSESSION OF A SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- GSEC, Security + or SSCP

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Evaluates communication hardware and software, troubleshoots LAN/MAN/WAN and other network related problems, provides technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks.
- Performs general LAN/BAN/WAN administration, provides technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.
- Schedules conversions and cutovers.
- Oversees network control center.
- Supervises staff and maintenance of systems.
- Coordinates with all responsible users and sites.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study*
- Switching - Cisco & Brocade (LAN/BAN, Data Center switching, and security technologies)
- Required: IAT 2: GSEC, Security + or SSCP. 4-9 years of experience. DoD Secret w/SSBI
