Communication Manager (junior)

For our client based in Basel, we are looking for a Communication Manager (junior), who will partner with all functions and sites within Biologics Drug Product as well as cross functional global groups (ie Group Communications, Human Resources) to facilitate and execute the day to day communications and actively contribute to the development of the organization. Communication Manager (junior) will be assessing, designing and delivering on identified communication needs through appropriate vehicles (newsletters, town halls, website, webcasts, social media, etc.), while leveraging innovative communication methodologies and tools will be at the core of the (junior) communications manager role.

Further responsibilities involve but are not limited to the following:

Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive Bio DP communication plan, in alignment with PT Group Communications and an overall Bio DP communications strategy

Manage the Biologics Drug Product Intranet website and further develop Intranet presence, including blogs, manage regular department newsletter, including news editing and publishing in cooperation with the Bio DP head's assistant

Support planning and execution of Bio DP town halls and development of associated communications materials

Partner with the Bio DP unit's leadership to create and implement a regular and consistent leadership communications program, as well as partnering and supporting the Bio DP manufacturing sites in aligning with the overall communications strategy

Guide organization through existing and emerging communication vehicles, templates and tools. Develop proficiencies, as needed, in new IT communication tools as they are deployed (Google+, etc.)

Support overall communications and change management needs on key projects where needed

Profile:

While being a top candidate for this challenging and exciting role, you provide us with a proven track record in project management experience, web communications and content management expertise and your demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deliver high quality work within defined timelines. You are a strong team player, with cross-cultural communications experience and aiming towards successful collaboration with all levels within the organization.

Your hands-on experience and qualifications involve:

Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business or other relevant experience and experience in communications methodologies for small and large organizations

Pharma and Technical Operations knowledge is considered a plus

Experience with social media tools and in educating and driving adoption of enterprise tools and media for community building

Ability to translate complex matters into simple and clear messages

Good command of PowerPoint and high creativity in graphic design as well as excellent English skills both written and verbal, other languages (German) are considered a plus
