For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a:

Communication Manager - Clinical Trials and Patients Relations

Purpose:
Support the client's mission by implementing the communications strategy (including media and social media) for key trials within the Clinical Trial Recruitment Communications and Advocacy practice in GDD.

Lead patient engagement with innovative approaches, capturing the patient perspective and activating patient involvement during the planning and execution of clinical trials (eg organizing patient adboards).

Close collaboration with development, advocacy, communications and social media teams as well as country communicators is essential.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Execution and/or supervision of media and social media deliverables
In collaboration with the Communications Director, maintenance of the communication strategy for the key clinical trials at an enterprise level
Day-to-day contact for selected patient groups, internal stakeholders and agency, if required
Management of compliance documentation, content and events with patient groups (eg Patient Adboards)
Project management, ensuring progression and tracking of tactical implementation

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
On time, compliant and high-quality communications materials delivered according to agreed plans and timelines
Creativity, flexibility and "out-of-the-box" thinking
Positive feedback from patient groups, business partners and communications colleagues on quality, timeliness and relevance of communications materials

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum 8+ years of experience in pharma communications. Patient Relations experience is a must have.
Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
Experience of working in large organizations with multiple stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in appropriate field (Science-related, Communications, Journalism or equivalent)
