Commodity Sourcing Leader Job

COMMODITY SOURCING LEADER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Atlanta, Georgia.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Developing, implementing and leading the North American sourcing strategy for key purchased material and services
- Develop negotiations strategies and lead negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives in accordance with the strategy, influence supplier selection, supplier development, and overall supplier management
- Drive Sourcing initiatives including best cost country (BCC), productivity, rationalization of supply base, sole source reduction, cycle reduction, on time delivery and quality improvements, Six Sigma/lean, and cash flow improvement
- Drive strategies among various functions within the P&Ls and regions
- Develop complex, global and comprehensive supplier/buyer contractual and strategic relationships
- Understand business compliance requirements and drive opportunities to eliminate compliance risk as well as driving initiatives to remediate concerns

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a technical discipline
- A minimum of five (5) additional years of experience in Sourcing, Production Control, Distribution, or Production Planning
- Negotiation expertise
- Experience sourcing services
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically at least 20% of the time
