Commodity Manager II

YOUR CHALLENGE:

- Able to lead project based Cost activities, manage reporting of results within the project teams. 
- Drive significant impact on the cost price of products/services and supports total cost improvement discussions. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive concept savings in new product developments and Legacy portfolio in close cooperation with R 
- Represents procurement in a development center and ensures early supplier involvement; 
- Participates in DfX conventions for the assigned business; 
- Drive the Supplier Selection Process together with the Commodity Teams; 
- Support price negotiations with fact- based information and opportunities to drive short and/or long term product cost reduction improvement; 

YOUR TEAM:

- Team member, reporting to the Site or Category Procurement Engineering Business Partner. 
- Working at the Philips Healtchare, Service Parts Supply Chain (SPS) Business Innovation Unit (BIU) 
- Cross functional and multinational collaboration with Global SPS organization, Global suppliers, Service Innovations, Life Cycle Managers, Procurement groups,etc. 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

- Experience with Cost down projects and new product introduction projects executed for assigned product portfolio.
