Commodities Trading Developer - ETRM/CTRM Systems

We need a developer to start on the 1st May in energy trading house.

Contract runs until the end of Sept with the possibility of extension.

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE

- Understanding of ETRM/CTRM Systems (this can be a packaged solution, eg Endur, Triple Point CXL, or in-house build experience)
- Appreciation of US Power and Natural Gas businesses (nice to have)
- Preferably knowledge of Commodity Deal Lifecycle
- Experience of Exchange Trading systems would be a bonus (especially feeds, gateways)
- Experience of ICE eConfirm ECM system would be a bonus

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

- Extensive knowledge in Excel VBA and C# (OOP)
- Object Oriented programming with workbook/worksheet objects and classes.
- Event handling
- Excel object model
- External references (eg system calls)
- Forms (design, controls, properties and code behind)
- ODBC (linking database views via ListObject/QueryTable)
- AdoDB (query/update/insert database via SQL)
- General Microsoft Office
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Database design (tables, views, relations)
