This role is as a Commodities Technical Architect for a leading consultancy who is leading a Commodities Risk and Regulations project in Bern Switzerland. The day to day aspect of the role will involve leading the C# .NET database development and designing, building and acting as the face of the implementation for the Delta Connect solutions. The majority of the work will be done in core Java but the client solution will be C# .Net. The ideal candidate therefore must be able to work in both Java and C#.

The Ideal candidate should have a strong commodities background or a strong background in risk and regulations. Experience of architecture and team leading would be ideal as you will be responsible for taking the client requirements, translating that to a team of skilled developers and take ownership for the building and reviewing of the code.

The project involves building the enterprise service bus to link into their Delta Connect system as well as data migration. This role is highly focused on strategic development and the client is looking for someone who can orchestrate the project developments across its broadening businesses areas.

Working for home is an option which may be considered on a case by case basis.

Based in Bern - direct flight from City or go to Zurich & it's a one hour train

Immediate start.

Paying up to £700 per day
