Commodities MIS/Process Improvement Analyst

My client, an investment bank is recruiting for a process improvement analyst to join their team.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Generate daily operations MIS
Assist in collation of monthly regulatory reporting
Submit monthly operations KPI's and statistics
Extract, analyse & interpret key data from commodities systems
Design & implement new tactical fixes required by operations management
Support current tactical excel/access operations infrastructure across all sites
Ability to problem solve, root cause analysis and map process's
Data mine the Bank's commodity databases using SQL navigation tools
Build relationships with key commodities personnel across all sites.
Report to different levels of management across all sites.

Essential skills:

SQL: This is the most important skill as all commodity databases are stored in oracle, the only way information can be extracted is using SQL
Excel: Understand functions & tools like: -Vlookups, Pivotables, Importing data from Access & other sources, VBA macros,etc
Access: Design access queries, macros, link data from excel and using SQL pass thru queries.
Advanced MS Excel/Access & SQL
Good numerical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Reliable, Diligent Team Player
Excellent Communicator.
