Previous experience in commodity operations is needed, preferably with precious metals.
Experience:
- Commodity operations preferably in precious metals
- Ability to work within a very small team
- Time management
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot
- Good word and excel skills
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling trade inputs and confirmations
- Confirming and investigating trade settlement issues
- Inputting and releasing metals and cash
- Reconciling accounts
- Managing cash accounts
- Liaising with Front Office and other Operations departments globally.
- Invoicing
- Physical shipments - raising documentation; liaising with shipping company etc
- VAT
The role is initially a 12 month contact and the rate is negotiable up to £200/day Dependent on relevant experience.
